Rainy Day Woman #1
They shut down all campus buildings all day today and have already cancelled tomorrow's classes at UAF because of icy conditions. The official reason was actually "Anchorage Weather", though if anything it's worse than Anchorage right now. I have been doing mostly nothing all day, since there is nothing much to do. Tomorrow I might try to go running with my racing spikes, since they are telling people to stay off the ski trails. Some kids built a twenty foot snow man outside of the dorms, but the smart ones just sat around bemoaning the heat in their rooms.

Likewise for Anchorage, the official reason here being "The Anchorage Weather that Fairbanks is Having." I borrowed Mom's bike to get to school and I could see my reflection in the Chester Creek Trail the whole way to school yesterday, then they closed the campus at 1PM and kicked everyone out into the rain. I wish they would just take a zamboni to the trail to ice the tunnels cause then hockey-skates would be the way to go. Only six people were in my second class and since it's right by Starbucks, the professor bought everyone a warm drink. Then we sat in a circle and talked about Deconstructionism. I suggested we reserve the last half-hour for griping about the weather but we ran out of time talking about Critical Theory. Today I will be more assertive!

How about a post about your Thanksgiving feast? La Revolución sort of went by like any day for me. I did watch the parade go by but nothin' special.
